So, guess what we're doing tomorrow... Going to this "jeep tour" thing. Aparantly it's a big deal for jeep owners to actually, oh I don't know, use their jeeps for off roading. Who knew. It's this group of people who get together and ride through the mountains or whatever. I'm nervous. I don't know what to expect. I'm sure there will be an abundance of men named "Billy" or some crap like that. Questions, like what do I wear, where are the bathrooms, how long are we going to be doing this, is it safe... And more, are unanswered. All I know is that it's with a group called something gay like... Hold on let me find out.. Ok "the lizard heads 4x4 club" oh crap, this is totally NOT my thing.

Wow- thats hilarious! Way to be adventurous! So to answer your hair question- I think its a good idea for you to do the dark base color yourself. As long as you've got enough color to fully cover your hair, it should cover the highlights completely. And yea definitely leave the highlights to a professional. Carmel highlights would also be really pretty.
I HATE off roading. The whole fact that there's no rules, and there's not a dotted line going down the middle is a huge turn off for me. You bounce around like made and pray for deliverance until it's over. That's just me though, you just might like it. :)
