Laundromat woes

OK. So, you know how we get our laundry done? Not sure if you knew that now that I say it outloud, but anyways we take our laundry to get washed and folded. So this last batch there were like 3-4 things lost. A long sleeve patagonia shirt, a green cartigan and most important my jeans! So, I have 4 pairs of jeans but I only really ever wear 2. The other two aren't that cute and one pair are too big (fat jeans) and the other are a little snug. Well, they lost one of the two pairs I LOVE. So I've been trying to get a hold of the laundry people. The manager is always strung out on something, weather it be horse tranqulizers or pot, I don't know, maybe meth. So she fineally called me back and wanted me to give her a description of the pants. It's like, um... blue, denim, long, pockets on the rear. I don't know what you want from me and frankly, I don't trust that you're absorbing any of this info. So she gives me this story of how she thinks another lady emptied the dryer with our clothes and her clothes and then realized what she did, so she had to sift through her clothing and our clothing to pick out what was hers etc etc... Now she's trying to get a hold of the "whoops I think I emptied your dryer" lady to ask if she maybe has some of our clothes. Yeah, right, I'm not holding my breath. So I say, well is the owner prepared to refund my $60 for a new pair of jeans. To which she replied, well that's a lot. No, it sounded more like, whellll, schats a lot of moneee. (that's my horse tranq voice.) Yeah Sandra, that's right, it IS a lot of money and it's money that I don't have right now to replace said jeans. So now I'm left with my one lonely pair and my fat pair that absolutely require a belt and my snug jeans that I can only wear with loose-er tops to conseal my "cup runnith over"

Never mind my patagonia long sleeved shirt- $35
and my super cute green cartigan from target- only $15, but still super cute
and I forgot another long sleeved top from Eddie Bauer (get off my back, it was the first article of clothing I bought in CO, I couldn't resist the Bauer) - $35

that just stinks. Ugh. I'm always afraid of someone stealing my clothes at public laundromats.

BTW, I love your blog layout.
