You need to add more stuff to your blog! As for adding friends' links, you just go to edit profile, find the Templates tab, click on Page Elements, add an element, and click on the links list, where you can add each friends' url address of their blogs. I had to just kinda figure it out myself through trial and error, and I finally got it to work! Congrats on starting a blog.
