My Freak Flag

I have a passion for grocery shopping. I think I've always had this freak flag, I just didn't fly it proudly, until now. I'm very picky about where I shop. I like, in order

Whole Foods (overpriced and full of itself in all its glory)- When I step in, I feel like I'm starting fresh. I have the oppourtunity to compleatly fool myself yet again that I can resist the cookie isle and buy all fresh food. It's that glimer of hope that maybe this will be the week that I can convince myself to do a juice fast or like salmon. I always walk out of whole foods renewed and ready to cook, which is a good thing because you get totally raped on the prices and can't afford to eat out!

Trader Joes- Who can resist a whole cart of joy for only $80? Not me

Frys Marketplace-because I like the option of buying patio furniture and bananas in one place.

Safeway- 4 words, Deli Section, grilled paninis

I love Sprouts! My kids love going there too. I've never been to Whole Foods, but I've heard good things about it. I heart paninis! Where do you teach yoga? I've never tried it, but I've been kinda doing Pilates. How are they different? What happened to Erin? She's been MIA from the blogging world FOREVER!!

I live in Gilbert. I go to Lifetime Fitness. They do have some yoga classes there. I'm just wary because I'm afraid I'll plant my face and look like an idiot in there. I should give it a try, huh?

Give it a try, you're athletic. However, yoga at gyms is not the best, so if you don't like there try a studio. Much better quality.

Oh really?? Interesting. Good to know. I'm gonna check it out. Another question...do you just do yoga? Do you also do cardio and weights too to keep in shape?

I mostly just do yoga. There's Power yoga, or "flow." Which will kick your butt. A lot my students just stay in shape by yoga, because it can give you the cardio and you use your own body weight for the weight bearing benefits that lifting weights gives you. Then there's gentle yoga, restorative yoga, bikram or "Hot yoga" where they heat the room and you sweat like you've never sweat before.

I know the owner of this studio form like 5-6 years ago. Her name is cassandra. I took over her class back at LA fitness forever ago. This is a studio in gilbert if you're interested. I'm like the yoga pusher (just tell me to stop if it's too much info) I'm pretty passionate about it:)

No I really do appreciate you telling me more about yoga. I've always been curious about it but just never got around to finding out more about it. I saw your profile and it said you were a yoga instructor, so I thought you'd be the right person to ask!! Thanks! You really filled me in! I'm going to take the yoga class at my gym next week. If it doesn't do the trick, I will definitely look into Gilbert Yoga!! THANKS A TON!!!
