Twilight

I'm about half way through and wanted to give a quick little thought. Alright people, I'm obsessed. Reading half a book in 2 days is crazy wacky nuts for me, but I can't help myself. Ok, Ok, you were right. I love the book.... More to come later...

Yeaahhh!

Will you come down the weekend the movie comes out, November 21st. I think you should come see it with us. First showing on Saturday!!!

I know you have a birthday in there, we can celebrate that, too...

Ha ha!!!!! Ok, I've been waiting for a response about the book. Glad you like it. :) Let's see how many people you can get to jump on the bandwagon. Erin?

KATY!!!!! NOOOOOOoooooo!!!

I feel like we're in a WWII flick and my buddy just got hit in the back and I can see you going down, in slow mo, while I stand there helplessly clutching my own helmet.

I got about 80 pages in and had to give up.

I'm starting to think that maybe Steph M. put a spell on this book that is bewitching people after page 90. I refuse to be bewitched, and am therefore, NOT finishing.

Have fun at the movie though guys.

And Becca, you keep your hands off on Erin's innocent soul. Just in case, Erin, I'm going to request that you sleep with a necklace of garlic and clutch a stake, you know, in case this Stephy lady is slowly building up her legions before an attack.

too dramatic?

HAHA!!!

It is an entertaining read huh?

Garlic and wooden stakes would do no good against the Twilight vampires :)

Oh, Katy. No shame needed. I devoured all 4 books and have moved onto "The Host", her first adult novel. It is about aliens and I love it so far!

I've already heard rumors that Erin is "looking" for twilight. I won't reveal my sources. Scott's response to Renee's comment was "that's my kind of girl." I'm sorry Renee, I wish so bad I hated these books, you have no idea. Hey, I'm only half through though, so maybe they might start to suck. I'll keep you posted everyone. Coming down to AZ for twilight, eh, I mean my birthday may just have to happen... you know, for my birthday and all.

Yeaaaah... I don't think I can let myself to be "bitten" by s. Myers. I just can't read a YA book about, get this, VAMPIRES, especially since the majority of the readers are adult women. True, it's wonderful that people are reading instead of playing video games or whatever... But still. I am the lone soldier who stands in the fight against this Stephy lady. Who's with me? Renee? I've got a garlic necklace for you too!

Erin I think I'm going to tie up my 4 books with a bow, and leave them at your moms house. Maybe your curiousity will get the better of you....

hahahaha. erin i call bullshit. and i'm katy's source. i know you really want to read these books:) deny it all you want!! ok, maybe you don't want to read it, but you are totally intrigued!!

and yes, kate you should totally come down for the movie.

Haha!!! I'm really not interested anymore now that I've found out that the characters are in high school. When Renee said that Francine Pascal was like Ernest Hemingway compared to Stephanie Myers, that squashed all curiosity for me. I have so many other reads I want to get to...
