Vine Street (http://www.mountainsunpub.com/), my new love! I've affectionately named this place my "Colorado Sonoran" (http://www.sonoran.com/) I had a slight obsession with Sonoran back home, so much so that we had our rehersal dinner for our wedding there. Scott was equally obsessed with it too, don't worry. So let's re-cap
"Colorado Erin"= Girl named Emily who I think I'll see again this weekend
"Colorado Sonoran"= Vine Street Pub.
Their slogan is "Beer, Food, Music, Love, what else do you need?" Bwah... uh uh, NOTHING, that's what! So, anyways we met up with a few people here on Friday night at 10:00PM. I know, I know, pick your jaw back up. Me, Katy, BEGAN her night at 10:00pm. You'd think I was a 27yr old or something. So now, get this. We stayed until 1:00AM. I know, crazy! We had great company, great convorsation, great beer, great live music. There was this amazing Jazz band that was a pretty eclectic group of people. There was an asian fiddle player, a tall white basketball player looking guy playing the bass guitar. A middle aged balding guy on drums and I forget the other guy. Let's call him "non descript guy." Anyways they were great.
Scott and I totally needed to hang out with "our people." I don't exactally know how to define these people, but one of them was a geologist and they were all vegetarians who enjoy a good brew from time to time. It was a fun night and I hope to do it again real soon. This was the kind of night that makes you feel alive and that all is right with the world.

I'm so glad you found a little diddy that you can go to and it feels like "home", as well as talk to some good peeps who share similar views. Sounds like you guys had such a great time.
Shut it right now. You stayed awake past 5 PM?! What has Colorado done to my Kitty-Kat? Wild woman on the loose!
