Yesterday was the coldest day I'd ever experienced... until today.
Yesterday was 4 degrees! Today it's -9.
On Saturday night we went out with a couple friends. We arrived at Hooters (don't judge) at about 10:00 and there was no snow on the ground. We left at 12:00 and our cars and the roads were covered. It didn't stop snowing until about Sunday afternoon. Craziness.
Yeah, so about Hooters. That outfit is so NOT cute. It's generally ill fitting, with trim girls muffin topping out of their sheer dancer panty hose and those socks! I can't say enough about the awfulness of those socks! Does anyone agree with me?

yes, i totally 500% agree with you. and i can say this from personal experience, as I...lindsay vanhook barnes...worked there for about 3 weeks my senior year of high school. i'm so ashamed. the food sucks too.

Those socks make me nostalgic for 1994.
So I once told a guy back in college that I had worked at Hooters. He totally believed me and seriously got more interested at that point. What a loser. Loser him for thinking below the belt and loser me for telling a slutty lie. :) Still makes me laugh though!

There's a new place here called Tilt a Kilt (I think that's the name?) and it's a bar where the waitresses are dressed in skimpy plaid kilts, and Eric and I agreed that it was at least a step up from the Hooters outfits. He joked that if I ever wore orange shorts, he'd probably go limp for a year (sorry for the crassness, I'm just relating what he said). Anyway, I TOTALLY forgot about the socks though. Yuck.
Lindsay, i don't know you, but I have the utmost respect for a girl who can own up to working at Hooters. My sister-in-law worked there for two months, and she still straight up DENIES it. Own it, because that's seriously AWESOME.
haha. yeah i rocked the orange shorts for a few weeks. and yes renee, the waitresses at tilted kilt are skankarific...but i still love that bar. we've been going to the one on warner for years:) why? because they serve the drink i like.
