I like this quote because I don't believe people just "fall out of love." It's too passive and scary for me to believe that. I believe we actively choose daily, weekly, or monthly to do or not do certain things that add/detract from our happiness with our "other." I also think it's very inspiring to think of love this way. It means that if we want to stay together and be in love we can. It's within our control. It's not just going to "happen" to us either way.
So what that said..
"Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don't know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings."

i really like this quote, but i kinda think that "falling out of love" is exactly what the quote is talking about? when you fail to continue to try and keep your relationship sustained, you can fall out of love? not saying that falling out of love just happens...but that it's the result of no longer trying. hmmm. good quote:)
Yeah, we're saying the same thing I think. I think the quote is saying, you don't just fall out of love, it takes practice. Doesn't just happen to you.
Love that quote and I totally agree with your take on love. It is always a choice to make it work, be honest and just accept your husband for who he is.
I finally updated my blog, come check it out :)
I didn't know you had a blog, too! We're still in Mesa, but Ryan is applying to the dental school in Aurora (along with a few other dental schools). He's actually there right now. I'm heading off to work right now, but I'll read up on your blog later this week. It's good to hear from you again.
