I need to add some new music to my collection. My ipod is feeling lonely and needs some new tunes. I love discovering new artists and new music, but lately I havn't been on my game. So I'm leaving that task to you.
Enlighten me please.
I like all kinds of music, so don't be shy.
What albums to I NEED to have? What song to I HAVE to hear? What are your top 5 desert island albums? My list changes fairly often, but these albums always seem to make their way to the top. In no particular order
1) Bob Marley-Legend
2) Sufjan Stevens- Illinoise
3) Death Cab for Cutie-Plans
4) Graceland
5) Sade- Lovers Rock

I don't know if you like my taste. I really like Nelly Furtado's glow album and I love Outkast. I also like Rhianna's good girl gone bad album. I love it when I find an album that I can listen to all the way through, not just two good songs.
I knew there would be a comment from you about my selections. Whatever!!!!!!!! about Illinoise! I forgive you. I remember listening to Ray of Light in my little red truck before school in the MHS parking lot. "For my money, it dosn't get much better than when he sings, when a man loves a woman." What movie is that from? Except for me, replace "when a man loves a woman" with "unbrake my heart" ahhhh ha ha ha. Oh and I love outkast, not a huge fan of the others though.

Oh yeah, music.... hmmm.... yeah I don't feel comfortable suggesting music to others. I really like ELO. If you aren't totally hung up about soundtracks from movies about roller skating, I'd suggest giving Xanadu a listen.
I was going to ask... do you like The Rentals? I think you might, if you don't already.
I'm a guru when it comes to music. Ha...
PS. Your stories have been keeping me entertained! I still cannot get over the Noodle Klepto. Unbelievable!

oh and i just heard a song by mieka pauley called fate day by day and i keep listening to it over and over.
