For lack of anything significant to blog about.. I'm just going to ramble off what's in my head today.
1) My burfday is coming up on the 29th. Scott surprised me with a night's stay at the Westin and two tickets to see the Nutcracker on my actual birthday. I want to get something fancy to wear. This may be a challenge. A dress, or pants and a nice top? I want to find a fancy bright yellow top or dress. This could make it even more challenging. I'm so very excited. He did great, and I can't wait.
2)We bought a real guest bed yesterday. Sorry guests, no more sheridan bed (aka, full size blow up mattress that has a slow leak so when you wake up at 2am the thing is almost deflated)
3) My dad is coming to visit this weekend and I have no idea what to do with him. He's most concerned with me making my mexican casserole for him. I think that's all he cares about. He's not into the outdoors, hates the cold and would be completly happy sitting on the couch eating said mexican casserole watching ESPN. He loves golf and sports, but he said he doesn't really want to play golf, so where does that leave me? We'll see.
4)I'm going to look into going back to school.... again, at Univ of Phx. I just can't do the normal class schedule with work and the time it would take to get my degree going not even part time at a normal university would be way too much for me to take on. Hopefully Scott will start teaching there part time and I can get a discount. That would be ideal. What would be even more ideal is if his teaching class coincided with my class schedule. I can dream right?

Few things.
1. burfday looks remarkably like barfday which would be a horrible day
2. I’m so freakin glad you got rid of that damn air mattress. That bruise on my elbow lasted for weeks after Jeffrey jet propelled me off of it when he rolled off himself. Torture is what that thing was.
3. what’s in your casserole?
4. what kind of classes are we talking about here?
Go Katy! You should totally go back to school. I'm all about correspondence classes or online classes or community college classes. Whatever it takes.
Also, I would go for the dress. There are so few occasions that merit a dress nowadays, why not live it up?
I was just on a site looking through dresses for a holiday party I'm going to.
For some horrible reason, I saw this and thought of you and your search for yellow:

I think all of those episodes of Mary Tyler Moore are getting to me.
I too want to know what goes in Mexican casserole.
Go Shorty, it's ur birfday. Are you two going to drink Bacardi that night too? uh, I'm a nerd.
Yes, go back to school. At times, you might feel as though there's no end in sight, but the accomplishment is AMAZING! I'm so, so glad I stuck with it and got my bachelors... I'm with Amy... whatever it takes.
Good luck on finding a dress!
