Today is officially our one yr anniversary of living in Colorado. It's been tough adjusting, as you all know, but ever since we went home to AZ for Christmas, it's been a lot better. Something about being here a year really has settled me. I'm feeling like Colorado is really becoming home for me. I think having friends here really helps.
So, we found this amazing condo in Washington Park which is a downtown neighborhood. We really like it, we're a block from the park. Parks here are nothing like parks in AZ. No offense AZ, but CO really knows how to do up a park right. They're all MASSIVE, have lakes, trails, the works. So, we found this new condo building that's for sale. Which for us right now buying is a no go, but they're renting a few units and we were really lucky to snag one. There's a potential for a rent to own, but we'll see. I'm posting some pictures from some of the other units, but they're all very similar, just some have different colors. The fixtures are amazing, looking forward to walk in closets, super nice baths, two big bedrooms, two baths and finally a living room with a fireplace and some space to move around in. For the past 3 yrs we've been living in about 800 sq ft and we've had ENOUGH! With our house in AZ being ripped up and under construction and being relegated to our bedroom and little living room, then moving here in this small apartment, we are ready to roam a bit. I know this sounds all crazy cat lady of me, but the cats like bigger spaces too. They'll run around the house when they have room and that makes me a happy cat mom.
Oh and also. I lost 4.2 lbs this week for a total of 7lbs down. My goal for this coming week is to lose 3 for a total of 10 in a month. I think it's very doable, but challenging goal.
So, here's the pictures.

what a beautiful place:) I didn't know you guys had decided. when do you move in? congrats!
That is beautiful....Jon & I were just talking last night about how nice it would be to live somewhere where a washer/dryer was IN your home (like a condo). Can't even imagine that kind of luxury.
So beautiful! That is totally my style. I can't wait for the day we can get new countertops. I looooove modern-looking kitchens. So "Euro" of you two, Kate. I can't wait to come check it out in person! :)
I love it! It's gorgeous!
