Things that make me happy

Acai Bowls
If you have not had an Acai Bowl, go out right now and find a place that serves one and try it. It's like a melted sorbet texture of Acai with cut up strawberries, bananas, crispy light granola and honey. You can also add other fruit, but I think it's traditional just to have the strawberries and bananas. I first had one at this little Brazilian restaurant in Santa Cruz, CA in November. My Aunt and cousins and brother insisted we get one before we leave. Sooo good. We found a place in Denver that does a not so authentic version, but still good. It's in Writers Square. Called something like Kuulata or something like that.

Great food and great convorsation with friends

This week we had to transfer the beer that we made as a group. Did you know that I organize a Denver couples group? It's a large group, about 220 couples. We get together and do stuff. Anyways, last time we made beer and "transfering the beer" is just a step in the process. One of the couples in the group hosted the event and we're storing the beer at their place. So we went over to transfer the beer and Sasha made dinner. She made Red Snapper cooked in parchment paper with fresh veggies and couscous. It was really clean and tasty. She also made espresso and we had a little ice cream for dessert. Maybe we had a glass of wine or two as well. It was all very very good. I was a little hesitant doing something like that on a school night. Kate needs her sleepy time! But it was well worth it and so fun. Good food and good conversation always make me happy!

(no picture. Just picture 1 white girl, 1 white man, A German man from Germany and a Russian girl from Russia.)

You didn't make it consistent: one white girl from white, one white man also from white, one german man from germany and one russian girl from russia. That sounded like it was a fun time... I'm the same way about my "school" nights... I'm contemplating going to a movie.. on a school night! crazy times!
