Maybe some of you have seen that reeeeally long, fancy list I've got goin' on the side of my page. Well, I haven't been neglecting it. In fact, I'm regularly checking things off. Here's what I've done
* Christmas with the Family in AZ. It was a great time, we were there 9 days and it was nice to see everyone and good to get home. Funny thing was, when I came back to CO, it was the first time CO really felt like it was starting to feel like home. I'm glad. I guess the one year mark really does make a difference.
*Take Photos once a month. January was in Roxbourgh park and February was at the First Friday Art walk on Santa Fe this past Friday. I got some great shots of these Indian tribal dancers. I felt sort of like the white girl stealing their souls by taking photos, but afterwards, I tipped them and asked if it was ok that I took some shots. Everything was ok. I'll post them on flickr for everyone to see... by the way, flicker is in the top right corner of the page.
* Get a massage and facial 2 times a year. I got both via surprise from Scott a week or so ago. Very great!
OK, I'm going to skip around. This is getting somewhat long
*I met some new friends. Anne & Mike, and Ken & Randy, to name a few.
* We're paying off our debt. Just sent in a $15k chunk in January. Yes, folks that's fifteen THOUSAND dollars. Ahh, don't you love home remodeling?
* Write a love poem for Scott. OK, I'm aware that like, NONE of you know that I write any poetry. Really the only person that's even seen any of it is Scott. I've been writing for like 7 yrs now and even have my own little space on the web. Surprised? Here's the latest one for my man
Right now
Right in this very moment
It's catching up with me
Moments of pure desire
Like love before the words
Passion pent up For you
For everything really
Like someone uncorked me from the heart out
Finally, again, from the heart out
*Join a yoga studio. http://www.samadhiyoga.net/
* Start Teaching Yoga again. I've been looking at places to rent out to start teaching yoga on my own, sans studio. I looked at a place Friday night, but it was dirty and cluttered and that's not the kind of place I'm looking for. I'll keep you posted though.
* Co-Organize the Run For Nie Denver with Jenni & Rebecca. This may not be happening now. They are wanting people to focus funds towards other worthy causes. We're still waiting on the word though.
* Make Pizza from scratch. DONE! We did this last night. It turned out pretty good, although the crust left a little to be desired. That's altitude for you though. It's tricky baking at 5280.
* Surprise Scott with something romantic. This is for V-day. I'll post this after this weekend

very exciting. good for you and your list. you've made a ton of progress.
well, it's kinda bittersweet that CO is starting to feel like home. you know i've been hoping for that for you over the past year, but it's still sad to think that AZ isn't your home.
Of course AZ is totally still my home. It will always be. I'm just glad I feel more in my element now and not so restless to get back to AZ.
i'm glad too:)
Go katy! It's so exciting to be able to cross things off your list!
