This time it's fo' reals!

Some of you know that our place we were going to rent out, fell through. Remember, the one that I posted pictures of? Yeah, the builder "lost the funding" to finish the building, so we were kicked to the curb. I was fine with it, except I really loved the place AND he cashed our deposit check. A hefty deposit check I might add. WHY would you cash checks if you weren't positive the building was going to be finished? Ahhh! Well, he messed with the wrong woman. You all are painfully aware of my history with contractors. More importantly, my history with contractors walking off with my money.

So, anyways, I started looking again. I found this gem! It's in Capitol Hill and just a great place. We're very happy to settle here for at least a couple years, provided our life doesn't blow up again. I don't think I'll believe it until we're firmly moving in to this place, but I just can't help but be excited. So... here's our new place.
The best part- 2 car attached garage and a rooftop deck. For those of you familiar with Denver/city living, you're lucky to even get an off street reserved spot, let alone a covered spot, let alone a common garage, let alone you're own 2 car, private garage. Oh, the things we take for granted. I love you garage! No more ice scraping

Wow! Sounds like you found a winner! Looks so nice. We were definitely grateful to have a garage when we lived in Missouri. I would have rather of stayed home then scrape ice off my car.

I love it! It looks really cute. I totally hear you on appreciating the little additions that come with city renting. I was stoked to find a condo that had a laundry room on-site. Forget the fact that in a year I'll spend on laundry the cost of buying a washer/dryer- atleast I don't have to schlepp that shit to the cleaners!

Congrats on the soon-to-be new home!
